Courses of Fire
ILEA conducts a variety of Firearms trainings. Depending on your purpose, you may be required to qualify on the following courses.
The Proposed Patrol Rifle, Shotgun, and Precision Rifle Qualifications are now available and have been approved for agency use beginning July 1, 2026. The existing qualification courses are also approved for agency use to meet in-service qualifications during this feedback period. Beginning July 1, 2027, the Rifle Marksmanship Qualification, the Rifle CQB Qualification, and the previous Shotgun Qualification will no longer be approved for use in qualifications.
